Welcome to the homepage of the Laser Theory Group. Our research group is within the Quantum Optics and Laser Science of the Physics Department at Imperial College, London. We are involved in the theoretical and computational study of a wide range of linear and nonlinear optical phenomena, particular interests include femtosecond pulses, optical parametric interactions, unstable resonators and optical fractals, Bessel beams and other novel propagation effects and the relation between nonlinear photon optics and nonlinear atom optics (the dynamics of BEC's).
